Welcome to Legends!

Legends is App State’s entertainment and social scene.  From bands to solo-artists to comedians, Legends is the place to experience great performances.  Once the WD grocery store, Legends hosted nationally-known performers like Jimmy Fallon, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Mowgli's, Luke Combs, Shakey Graves, Tory Lanez, Mandolin Orange, Chase Rice, Moon Taxi, and GRiZ!

Emerging artists with a strong following like Foxy Moran, Terraband and Rainbow Kitten Surprise are favorites that pack the house, too. With an intimate to standing-room-only setting, Legends continues to build a reputation where students and guests go to enjoy a variety of entertainment.

As the stage where many App student groups launch their entertainment careers, Legends provides the perfect atmosphere for new talent to perform, energize audiences and gain confidence. Recently funk-fusion band, Electric Jelly Funk, performed to a full house during their debut solo performance.  The App students who make up EJK’s memorable sound recently signed a contract with Split Records and won Battle of the Bands at Legends in 2017.
