Talking Box Co. is one of Boone's fasting growing local bands. Their mixture of indie rock, new wave and post punk makes them a Boone favorite. Join the band along with the jazzy Unaka Prong on September 10th when the bands take the Legends stage.

Travers Brothership w/ Dr. Bacon

With the use of electric or acoustic instruments; Travers Brothership projects a wide variety of music making each concert unique.  Travers Brothership performs live with 4 to 8 musicians, performing a vast repertoire of original and covered music. Utilizing the Travers Brothers' roots of Soulful Blues, Rock, Funk, Jazz and Improvisational jam, the band covers all the bases.  Travers Brothership's goal is to provide an atmosphere that conveys a message of community and emotional fulfillment with grooves that are sure to get you on the dance floor.

Luke Combs is a musician with a passion for playing country music. Luke began to develop his craft in the summer of 2011 while attending Appalachian State University and has been plowing ahead ever since. After 3 years playing with his band in his home state of North Carolina, Luke made the move to Nashville in September of 2014. Contra Dance featuring George Segebade w/ Footspring

Join us for the first contra dance of the year at Legends! George Segebade is the caller, and Footspring will be playing. Beginners are welcome with a lesson at 7:30pm and the dance at 8pm.

FootSpring is a duo with Jennifer Lane on fiddle and Buddy McManus on guitar/mandolin/footpedals. They are focused on the unique rhythmic needs of the contradance community.

Cherub w/ Hippie Sabotage- SOLD OUT!

Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber take their fun very, very seriously. The pair behind the ambitious and emphatic Nashville duo Cherub craft hooky electro-pop that lyrically captures the risqué, pleasure-seeking impulses of their youth, while their studio expertise results in alluring grooves. 

Cherub will be bringing their electric new live set up to the Legends on September 26th. Fans will be able catch the duo performing with additional musicians on stage; their producer Nick Curtis on drums and longtime friend Jordan Bartlett on guitar and keys. Jordan and Jason could not be more excited about hitting the stage as a four piece band, and this fresh new reinterpretation of their live show has been years in the making and is an exciting new chapter in their musical adventure. Expect new songs, old songs and a Cherub show like you've never seen before!

Rootz Underground with Fear Nuttin Band

Rootz Underground represents Jamaica’s most recent contribution to the International Reggae & World Music scene. While undeniably rooted in reggae the six-member outfit uses their collective passion to create a sound that pushes boundaries and defies being boxed into a single genre. Electric yet organic, gritty and soulful; the band manages to harness the essence that the reggae aficionado was captivated by in the 1970’s while connecting the youth to the pure messages of Rastafari with explosive live performances that are a positive and emotional musical journey.

Steep Canyon Rangers

The Steep Canyon Rangers are an American bluegrass band from Brevard, North Carolina, USA. Formed in 2001, they have built a reputation as an engaging acoustic quintet seasoned by constant touring.  Before being nominated for two International Bluegrass Music awards in 2008 (including Album of the Year, ”Lovin’ Pretty Women”), the Rangers were named ’Emerging Artist of the Year’ in 2006 at the IBMA awards ceremony in Nashville, TN.  The group has been regularly featured on the Grand Ole Opry, as well as major U.S. Bluegrass and Americana music festivals such as MerleFest, Telluride, Grey Fox, DelFest and RockyGrass. The Rangers’ willingness to bring Bluegrass to music-lovers worldwide has taken Steep Canyon to festivals in Sweden, Ireland, Germany and Canada. The group also regularly performs at Rock & Roll venues on the U.S. jam-band circuit.
